Assemblage
Assemblage work is created using found, made and salvaged objects that include fabric, metal, stone, wood, clay, bone, and fur. The objects grew into a library of urban salvage and life residual and began to merge with paintings. These objects formed a study regarding natural material and emotional connection or narrative - a way to find coherence between objects that are unrelated but can act in a similar way. Deformation of the objects let's them fall into a new shape, modified by combination, sculpted, or by applied force such as burning, submerging in water, twisting and crushing.
